Power and Puppets
linked Well known puppet characters from the 60’s and 70’s have dismissed their well known accomplices and linked up with powerful and iconic figures , historical and religious. The juxtapositioning of these diverse characters, fictional and real questions the notions of power and image. By hand colouring these drypoint prints I am attempting to take the spectator back to the world of 60’s and 70’s comics.
