Artists in Ramsbottom have been showing their skills at a printmaking class at Ramsbottom Library. The printmaking sessions at the library are part of Bury Adult Learning Service. Artist Alan Birch spent a day at Queen Elizabeths Grammar School in Blackburn, spreading the gospel of print. Alan worked with sixth formers producing a series of engravings, some incorporating collage. Later teachers from Blackburn secondary schools were able to enjoy themselves getting creative and exploring the world of print.

Printmakers at Prospect Studio spent an enjoyable weekend working with printmaker Stuart Brocklehurst. Stuart showed artists his work before they produced their own 6 colour prints, printed by hand. A great range of prints was produced and artists thoroughly enjoyed their day.
