Learners Voice.

All pupils from Didsbury Primary School in Heaton Mersey were inspired by the story of Around the World in 80 Days to work with a range of creative practitioners to produce, music, theatre, writing and print. Objects collected from travels were used as starting points, from which pupils took inspiration.  Years 3 to 6 produced a copious amount of work based on skeletons, Day of the Dead, natural forms, puzzles, animals, African fabrics etc. Printed fabrics, animation, collages, banners were amongst a vast array of work. The work formed part of a Learners Lead project, in conjunction with Creative Partnerships, Manchester and Salford.

“  We had a great week and a half – learnt loads and had great fun too. Thank you so much for all your help. “
