Hand made printing sessions
Members of the Age Friendly Museums Network spent 3 afternoons at the Whitworth, exploring the creative opportunities offered by print. Working with printmaker Alan Birch artists took the works on display in the Whitworth, as inspiration for a series of lino, relief, drypont and chine collie prints. For many of the artists it was their first taste of printmaking and the work produced was of a high quality. Thanks to Claire Cowell at the Whitworth for organising the sessions.
