Alan Birch

Pupils at Ridgewood Community Hiogh School in Burnley, experienced their first taste of printmaking when artist Alan Birch took his  portable etching press into their school during the summer term. Relief prints and dry points were produced on the theme of the Jungle, and the prints were used to enhance pupils coursework. With the aid of  the pupils tutor,Sararose Fiscus and teaching assistants, pupils were able to produce some excellent work.
