Alan Birch

Year 10 students from St Cuthbert’s High School visited Manchester , taking in the Central Library, and Manchester Art Gallery before spending an afternoon printing with artist Alan Birch. Working from the work of Peruvian artist, shaman and environmental artist Santigo Yahuarcani, the students produced drawings which were later turned into engravings. Some pupils even added collage to their work which reflected the creavity of the paintings.
