WAR IMAGES
Pupils from Stockport and Manchester visited the Manchester Art Gallery to view and be inspired by the work of Francisco de Goya. Artist and printmaker Alan Birch presented his own work inspired by Goya. Pupils were then given an opportunity to get their hands dirty and produce expressive drypoint prints using conflict as a starting point. Many pupils produced chine colle prints combining collage of celebrities with the horrors of war.
