Chinese food provided the initial impetus for year 2 and 3 pupils at Bolshaw Primary School. Pupils were treated to a week of food, music and print with a Chinese flavour as musician Eve Harrison and artist Alan Birch worked on a Creative Partnership project. Year 2 and 3 pupils made visual responses to the flavours and tastes of a Chinese banquet. They then decided to produce prints and music to create the Great Wall of China and a Seasonal tree. Musical scores in the form of leaves and bricks were created , performed and bound into an original book.
