Pupils first prints

Pupils from St Mary’s Catholic High School in Astley spent the day with printmaker Alan Birch  enhancing their coursework. The  25 pupils from Year 10, 12 and 13 worked tirelessly throughout the day using their themes of natural forms and the figure to produce a range of prints. Techniques explored included drypoint, relief, chine collie, colour printing and mixed media prints.
