Print returns to Whitworth

Pupils from Cheadle Hulme High School worked with artist Alan Birch, to produce engravings and chine collie prints, inspired by the work of Cornelia Parker at the Whitworth. Pupils spent time drawing from the exhibits, taking inspiration from marks, shadows and objects found in the works. From these works pupils produced prints, printed with a portable press and some added collage to their circular plates.
