Print at the new Whitworth.
Over 120 artists, mainly adults experienced the world of intaglio printing at the Whitworth. Working in the Grand Hall with artist Alan Birch, artists took plates into the gallery and produced engravings inspired by the Thomas Schutte and the Cornelia Parker shows. For many it was their first taste of print, and many said that that they would frame their work. Unusually over 40 men took part, which is good to see.
