Manchester Mela printing
As part of the Manchester Mela activities, Alan Birch in conjunction with Manchester Museum encouraged visitors to produce a range of prints, based on objects found in the museum. Over 400 visitors produced colourful relief prints, using wallpaper and specialist relief prints. Children and adults took part in the activities, many saying that they would frame the works at home.
