Local prints by local children.

Artist Alan Birch spent two days working with talented and creative pupils at Waterfoot Primary School. Working on the theme of transformation, Alan showed some images of Mexican folk objects and the work of Max Ernst and Hannah Hoch.
Children then created their own individual creatures from collages before drawing, engraving and printing their own prints. Brilliant stuff!
Alan said
” its great to work so close to the studio and the pupils and staff really got involved. Brilliant art room, with views to the hills. Hopefully see some of pupils and Jill at Open Studios in October. Great to see the boys so involved!”
