Crowcroft Park prints. Reception class.
Printmaker Alan Birch worked with pupils from Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 at Crowcroft Park Primary School in Longsight, during a 6 day residency. Reception pupils worked on the story of the 3 Little Pigs, using wallpaper and found objects to develop drawings into relief prints.Pupils worked on images for 6 scenes to tell the story of the pigs. Letters and numbers were also used on the prints to develop literacy and numeracy skills during the year. These prints are then scanned into photographs to create images of fantasy and reality.
