Coffee, cake and culture.
Artist Alan Birch worked with visitors from the education department of Knowsley Safari Park and Manchester hospitals as part of the coffee cake and culture programme at the Whitworth during November and December. Visitors explored relief printing with wallpaper and relief printing using the wallpaper show as research. The visitors from Knowsley intend to use the process for staff development.
