Shopping in Bolton 2019
Pupils looked at old archival footage of the market hall and fashions of the time.
Alan Birch worked with pupils from St Brendans RC Primary School in Bolton to create four digital images currently displayed in the new Market Hall, Bolton.The four images looked into the history and future of the Market Hall and poupils used their imagination to depict themselves shopping in the venue in 1908 and 2108. The pupils produced drawings and prints with Alan, poetry with Mike Garry and the project was organised by Artists in Schools, Bolton together with Redwoods, Warners.
