Printing Pots
During August, artist Alan Birch spent two weeks working with families producing prints inspired by the ceramics found in the Mediterranean galleries. Parents and children alike made drawings, cut out wallpaper and produced multi- coloured relief prints. The children really enjoyed inking their own plates and during the residency over 1000 people made a range of rich textured prints.
