Coffee, Cake and Culture
Artists from Stockport and Manchester spent 2 sessions with artist Alan Birch at the Whitworth in September. Using the embroidered images by the artist William Kentridge as a starting point, artists made engravings and relief prints incorporating collage into their prints. The rich visual images reflected the textured works of Kentridge. The show is on over the next few weeks. well worth a visit!
