Visit to Manchester Art Gallery.
Members of Prospect Printmakers were given the chance to view the prints currently in the collection of Manchester Art Gallery. Artists were introduced to the collection by curator Kate Jesson and were then given the opportunity to chose their own print selections. Artist viewed works by Durer, Sutherland, Sickert, Rembrandt as well as viewing works by unknown artists and contemporary printers. It was a brilliant session and will hopefully be repeated later in the year.
