Print Festival.
In conjunction with the Start 2009 exhibition at Mid Pennine Art, Burnley, printmaker Alan Birch will be working with over 600 pupils in the gallery and in 4 schools in East Lancashire. Alan will be introducing pupils to the magic of printmaking and the pupils will be making relief prints inspired by the colours of the secondary pupils work in the gallery and following this up with making engravings in school using artists work.
