Primary prints
Year 3 and 4 pupils from St Paul’s Primary School in Rawtenstall explored the natural history collection of the Whittaker in Rawtenstall to produce wonderful drawings and engravings over 2 days. The works will be used on their school topic of Charles Darwin. In the afternoon relief prints were produced using the work of William Morris.
“ Thank you very much for the time you gave on both days to deliver the workshops to pupils from St Paul’s. It was a fantastic opportunity to work outside the classroom with a local artist to see the printing process in action. The children were engaged from start to finish and the work they produced was fabulous. Thank you for a great day.”
