Our-Lady’s Print
Year 1 pupils from Our-Lady’s Primary School in Manchester spent an enjoyable session with artist Alan Birch at The Whitworth in Manchester. Working from Natural forms found in the collection , pupils produced some excellent sketches which were theme cut from textured wallpapers. It was great to see the pupils and teachers get involved with the pupils tolling the ink onto the shapes and turning the wheel of the printing press. Excellent work was produced.
