Members of the National Society for Education in Art and Design met at the Whitworth in July and spent

Over 60 teachers produced a copious number of relief prints incorporating collage and mixed media. The starting point was works that were on display in the gallery during the conference. Copies of some of the images were used to incorporate into the prints. In two hours over 80 prints were produced and the results were greeted with enthusiasm
