MRI Consultation
Alan Birch spent the afternoon in the Critical Care Unit at Manchester Royal Infirmary as part of the Health and Wellbeing Programme. Alan together with artist Lucy Burscough and musician Rachel engaged nurses and visitors alike to gauge their opinions on the existing and future decoration of the unit. Over 22 nurses and visitors took part, many medical staff saying how much the enjoyed the humour in his series the Later-Day Saints whilst being familiar with the subject. Alan printed small copies of St Selfie and St Walking Poles for staff to take away. Many saying they would pin on their office wall or pass to family.
