Looking at Turner.
Members of the Age Friendly group of artists at The Whitworth looked at the exhibition of Turner’s mezzotint prints before making drawings which were turned into prints. The engravings using a range of engraving tools and sandpaper explored the tones seen in the exhibition. Members produced some excellent prints in the short session with Alan Birch.
