Identity at Manchester Museum
Pupils from Droylsden Academy and Wardle High visited Manchester Museum for a day of activities as part of an Identity project, taking place over the next few weeks at the Museum and School.
Pupils took part in short workshops at the museum ranging from looking at Egyptian life, CSI Athens, Celebrities and Shabtis and creative activities looking at portraits. Each day 60 pupils worked with printmaker
Alan Birch, working from drawings and images from the Egyptian collection to produce engravings. These were inked and printed to show how pupils can represent themselves in a variety of media.
