Gillian Ayres at Turnpike
The prints of Gillian Ayres will be on display at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh for April and May. This life affirming show features over 40 works on paper from the Alan Cristea Gallery in London. Gillian who is best known for her vivid, painterly abstract paintings is still working well into her 80’s and is a great advert for not slowing down. A series of school workshops will accompany the show, but these rate fully booked with around 500 pupils booked to get creative and inky!
