Coffee, cake and culture.
A fascinating and invigorating workshop was held at The Whitworth for Carers and their family members with early onset dementia . Artist Alan Birch took the group around the Whitworth looking and drawing from the figurative work of Tibor Reich. These drawings were later transformed into engravings which were printed with collage. The sessions which take place monthly culminate in Coffee and cake in the cafe. The sessions provide a supportive and creative time for all attending.
