Aftermath at Rylands.
As part of the aftermath exhibition at John Rylands Library on Deansgate in Manchester, I will be showing a small selection of etchings from the series ” Disasters of War ” inspired by the series of 83 etchings produced by Goya.
The exhibition which opens on 13th February 6-8 brings together examples of protest, reflection, memorial and invention. Aftermath is both an act of commemoration for lives lost or shattered by war and a celebration of the enduring spirit of humanity.
The exhibition runs until 29 June 2014.
