Alan Birch

As part of the Bury Festival of Arts , Alan worked with a group of adults on a series of drypoint, For many of the artists this was their first taste of printing and they excelled with their work. Using pieces of perspex , participants worked from a series of photographs or from their sketchbooks going through a few proof prints before settling on a final engraved image. Some artists explored collage in their final works.
